Hi!
I’m Donna, the maker behind Haute Holders. I landed in Hilo just before the pandemic and stitched over a thousand masks… then I fell head-over-heels for quilting. Today, I craft small-batch, quilted “haute” holders—fun things to hold hot stuff—right here in my non-smoking home in Hilo, Hawaiʻi.
Every piece is cut, quilted, and finished by me using quality cottons and insulated, heat-resistant batting. You’ll find bright prints, Hawaiʻi-inspired patterns, and plenty of humor—because kitchens should feel joyful. These make thoughtful gifts for food lovers, new homeowners, and anyone who appreciates handmade goodness.
I’m a one-woman shop, so your order gets real attention from start to finish. Want a custom color combo or a funny saying that sounds just like you? I’m in. Thanks for supporting local, handmade work—and for keeping the heat where it belongs: in the pan, not on your hands.

Special Requests Welcome
Special orders are always welcome. I’m happy to create custom pieces big or small, including quilts, baby blankets, T-shirt quilts, photo gifts, potholders, and other quilted items. I can work with new fabrics or thoughtfully reused fabrics, and I love creating pieces with a personal touch. Whether you want something Hawaiian, funny, sweet, practical, or one-of-a-kind, I’d be delighted to help bring your idea to life.
